The stories are endless and often one of a kind throughout this community. The rich history of the Shreveport and Bossier City area runs deep. Trend starters of yesteryear have led to world-changing innovations and magical moments, especially in the world of musical entertainment. Common figures come to mind when you mention our area’s musical history. Of course, Elvis, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, and Shreveport’s own James Burton are top of mind. However, the magic runs much deeper and much further back. Shreveport specifically played a pinnacle role in the creation of an entire musical genre that we all know as “Blues”. Traveling musicians like Huddie “Lead Belly” Ledbetter regaled the crowds both large and small throughout Shreveport’s St. Paul’s Bottoms, a notorious red-light district. Others like Jesse “Babyface” Thomas mesmerized groups with their unique style of guitar plucking and sole haunting tones of Southern Blues as they made their way across our nation.

One specific place that became a routine stop for these renowned “musicianers”, as they were often called, was a small speakeasy nightclub located just below downtown Shreveport and it was known as, “The Blue Goose”. The name, now steeped in deep but often forgotten history, has been rekindled and brought back to life in the form of a clandestine yet elegant fine dining establishment. Much like the prohibition speakeasies of old, we are exclusive to only those who are invited and have the necessary information to pass through our secret entry. We serve only the most artistically presented multi-course creations you can experience in this community. So exclusive that we only offer our dining experience one time on designated evenings. These dates are only made available to those who wish to experience this culinary ecstasy and feel the excitement of an adventurous period emersed in elegance, sophistication, and romance.
